Faith and Wine Lee County’s season opener live!
October 22, 2020 – Liz Larson’s “Lessons from Emma”
Many believe they are strong in their faith; This was something Liz was sure of as well until her faith was shaken to its core. Liz and her husband were given the devastating terminal diagnosis for their baby girl, Emma, at 20 weeks gestation. Little did they know the great things God had planned for her, the ‘smallest’ blessing. You are invited to experience the walk of faith as Liz takes you through her journey and shares her life-changing experience with you.
Liz is from Kalamazoo, Michigan, where she met her husband before moving to the greater Detroit area in 2008. In 2011, she and her husband relocated to Colorado for three years before settling in Fort Myers in 2014. Liz has been a nurse for 13 years and currently works part-time at Gulf Coast Medical Center. She balances work with her family at home, including her husband, five-year-old son Erik, and their newest addition Elijah. Liz was born and raised Catholic and is a member of Our Lady of Light in Fort Myers. She has shared her testimony at ‘A Night of Remembrance” and the Lenten Retreat, ‘Strength for the Journey.’
