We all have doubts that we are in the “right place”. Never doubt that you are right where you are supposed to be…BUT if you are not – pay close attention to that still small voice leading you down a different path!

B. Joann Andrews is a parishioner at St. John XXIII Catholic Church and a Registered Nurse at Lee Health for 31 years. Joann is the Manager of the Faith Community Nurses for Lee Health. She will share how both her faith journey and her nursing career did an about face simply by listening to God’s calling. Joann will discuss her role in the Covid pandemic and talk about how the Faith Community Nurses assisted parishes in the pandemic response.

Joann hopes that her story will give others hope that God has a plan to help you be the person you were meant to be on the day you were formed.

Joann Andrews, RN DNP CIC serves as the Manager of the Faith Community Nurse program for Lee Health. Joann serves her own church, St. John XXIII Catholic Church as one of their four Parish Nurses. She has more than 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse at Lee Health, and her prior role was as a Senior Infection Preventionist for 14 years.

Joann is happiest when educating to individuals and groups and is known for her energy and enthusiasm. In Faith Community Nursing there are numerous opportunities for formal and informal education, and she never passes up the chance to talk about faith, wholistic health care, and community wellness.
