“Small Things with Great Love: To Love like Mother Teresa”

How do we make our way to Heaven? Our Lord commands us to love one another. The greatest Commandment is this: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22: 36-40).
Saint Teresa of Calcutta learned from the “Little Flower” St. Therese to do small things with great love. She modeled herself after the modern day saint, and with God’s grace she founded the Missionaries of Charity Religious Congregation to take care of the “poorest of the poor” all around the world.
Mother Teresa, though small and frail in stature, was a great powerhouse of Faith, Hope, and Love. She teaches us to love like Jesus—to follow His
instructions: ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.’” (Matthew 25:40).
